WCA speaks at the Smart Financing for Women Entrepreneurship at Building Bridges Week 2019 – Geneva.

WCA (Working Capital Associates) LLP's Chief Executive Officer, Federica Sambiase, speaks at "SMART FINANCING FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP", with fellow Panelists H.E. Ms. Marie-Chantal Rwakazina, Rwanda Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the WTO, Steven Beck (Head of Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program, Asian Development Bank) and Amal Hassan (CEO and Founder, Outsource Global, Nigeria).
The panel was co-organised by the Permanent Mission of Rwanda to the UN, African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, Intra-American Development Bank, International Trade Centre and Islamic Development Bank, in cooperation with the WTOs and was part of Building Bridges Week (https://www.buildingbridgesweek.ch/en/home), a collaborative week by 52 partners, from the finance industry, governments, business, the United Nations, international organizations, academia and civil society, to foster new conversations and collaborations aimed at accelerating the finance industry’s contribution to the achievement of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goal .
The Panel focused on advancing women’s economic empowerment through financial inclusion, with an emphasis on trade finance, supply chain finance and impact finance. Speakers shared experiences and lessons learned, discuss challenges and opportunities going forward, and highlight implications for policy makers and the international community.
