Trade Finance Officer

The trade finance officer is responsible for completion of daily tasks with particular focus on invoice and provisional invoice financing, including the processing of transactions; following internal process and procedures to ensure monitoring and tracking of our transactions.

Responsibilities:

Managing and processing trade finance transactions, including but not limited to

  • Verification of commercial documentation flow and their validity

  • Monitoring and processing Advances and Discounts

  • Preparing payments/draw downs, repayments

  • Processing and calculating interests, fees

  • Monitoring and Processing customer payments (both for ad-hoc & financed transactions)

  • Maintaining and updating credit and debit statements

  • Monitoring transaction across its life cycle

  • Ensure Risk and Controls processes are followed in assessing commercial documentation

We expect the suitable candidate to have a background in operations in a commercial bank or an established alternative commercial/business finance company.

The role has a high degree entrepreneurship and the right candidate will be able to shape the role and grow rapidly within our team.
